जौनपुर में रविवार को असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर भर्ती परीक्षा और बीएड संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में संपन्न हुई। 14 परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित भर्ती परीक्षा में 3,537 अभ्यर्थी शामिल हुए।

जिलाधिकारी ने चिकित्सा महाविद्यालय का किया निरीक्षण
जौनपुर के उमानाथ सिंह स्वशासी राज्य चिकित्सा महाविद्यालय में जिलाधिकारी सैमुअल पॉल एन. ने निरीक्षण कर निर्माण कार्यों, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं और व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की तथा अधूरे कार्य शीघ्र पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए।
हादसों को न्योता देती बिजली विभाग की लापरवाही, फाइलों में दबी 11 हजार वोल्ट लाइनों की गर्डिंग
जौनपुर शहर और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 11 हजार वोल्ट हाई वोल्टेज लाइनों के नीचे सुरक्षा गर्डिंग न होने से बड़े हादसे की आशंका बढ़ गई है। लोगों ने बिजली विभाग पर गंभीर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया है।
